How long before I get paid?
You can choose to be paid via direct deposit or by check. Payment timeframe is typically 1-2 business days for a direct deposit payment, while a check is 3-7 days for the U.S. Mail to deliver it to you.
- If you’re selling your gun outright, your payment is sent to you upon receipt of your gun.
- If you’re consigning your gun, your payment is sent to you upon the sale of your gun. The sale of the gun typically takes 15-20 days.
How much are your consignment fees?
The consignment fee is flat 25%. This covers all costs of shipping/insurance, FFL transfer, GunBroker auction fees including “Final Value” fees, costs of marketing/advertising, and credit card processing fees.
Can I get my firearm back after shipping it to you?
By shipping your firearm, you are agreeing to the Consignment and/or Outright Sales Process. We do our best to be accommodating if things change, and you decide to cancel the process. In which case, your gun can be shipped back to you; however, by law, we have to ship the gun to an FFL (Federal Firearms Licensee) of your choice, who will then legally transfer the gun back to you. By cancelling the process, you will pay for the return shipping and any transfer fees associated with your State’s laws and/or FFL. We comply with Federal Law in accordance with gun transfers in the United States.
Who do you sell to?
The firearms are sold to GunBroker.com users exclusively. All firearms are sold through a verified Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL) to qualified persons who meet all State and Federal requirements to own a firearm.
How do I package and ship my gun(s)?
If you choose to sell your firearm(s) using GunBroker Valet, we will provide detailed instructions and a shipping guide on how to properly ship your guns.
What happens if my gun is damaged or lost in transit?
All firearms shipped include an all-inclusive, industry leading insurance policy. If there is damage or a shipment is lost, you will still be paid what we agreed to pay you.
Why won’t you consign my gun or refuse to buy it outright?
In some cases the value of a gun is too low to make our process economically feasible. A gun’s resale value, condition, market conditions and other factors make it unfeasible to purchase certain guns.
Where am I shipping my gun to?
Your shipment will be routed to the processing center designated on your pre-paid shipping label. The destination address on the FFL License will always match the shipping label in accordance with Federal Law and UPS shipping policy. Should you have any questions regarding this please Contact Us.
